Pecan Pie is a favorite!! Sweet and nutty it's perfect warmed up with a scoop of ice cream on the side. There are countless variations on it. Bourbon adds a nice depth and warmth to the flavor.
Our Spotlight Chef, Kate Koler, of Sweet Savannah's in Marathon, Fl provides us this recipe. Sweet Savannah's has been voted the Best Key Lime Pie in the Keys for 9 years running. But she flat out told me she was not going to give me that recipe. LOL.
Nevertheless, I'm thrilled that she shared their Bourbon Pecan Pie recipe so close to the holidays. Hope you enjoy it.
